We are providing this notice of our privacy policy to explain how we may collect information about our customers, the type of information we may collect, and what information we may disclose about our customers to nonaffiliated entities.  We may amend our privacy policy from time to time.  We will publish on this site, for the use of our current customers, our most recent privacy policy.

Category A

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

Category B

We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as disclosed above in the notice.

 

Categories of parties to whom we may disclose nonpublic personal information

Category A

We may disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers to the following types of third parties:

  1. financial service providers such as insurance agents, life insurers

  2. nonfinancial companies, such as marketing companies

  3. other entities such as reinsurers

We also may disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.

We may disclose the following information to companies that perform services on our behalf (such as [providing services to us in connection with account administration, marketing our services or products, or marketing the services of products of other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements]):

  1. information we receive from our customers on your applications or other forms, such as our customer's name, address, social security number, names of beneficiaries, employer, previous insurance coverage, other health insurance coverage;

  2. information about our customer's transactions with us, our affiliates or others, such as our customer's policy coverage; claims history;

  3. information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as a customer's credit history

 

Confidentiality and security of our customer's nonpublic personal information

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our customers to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to the customer.  We maintain safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard our customer’s nonpublic personal information.
