Evans
"Pete" began his insurance and employee benefit career
with Connecticut Mutual Life in 1970. After a subsequent period of
employment with CNA Insurance at their Reading, PA Accident and Health
Claims Office, he became Claims Manager and Vice President of another
Harrisburg based TPA from 1972 until the founding of D. H. Evans
Associates, Inc. in 1993. Pete has considerable knowledge and
experience in the insured and self-funded arenas working with public,
corporate, and Taft-Hartley multiemployer plans.
Pete is a graduate of the
Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania.
He holds a B.S. in Economics with an insurance major and a business law
minor. He is a member of numerous employee benefit organizations and
is Certified in Flexible Compensation by the Employers Council on Flexible
Compensation. He and his wife have lived in Harrisburg, PA since
1972 and they have two grown children.

Dave Shatto
Before joining D. H. Evans Associates, Inc., Dave was a shareholder with a Harrisburg
(Pennsylvania) CPA firm and had served as the controller for another
Harrisburg based third party administrator. As well as being a
Certified Public and Certified Management Accountant, Dave is a Certified
Employee Benefit Specialist, a Qualified Pension Administrator, and a
Qualified 401 (k) Administrator. Dave has over twenty years of
experience serving clients’ needs related to employee benefit plan
administration, financial reporting, compliance with laws and regulations,
business planning, tax planning, business valuation, accounting and
auditing. Dave has served in court as an expert witness in tax and
accounting matters.
Dave is a past President of
the South Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and past Chairman of the Committee on State Taxation
for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past
President of the Harrisburg Area Chapter of the Institute of Management
Accountants. He is a member of the American Society of Pension
Professionals & Actuaries and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He
is a past
President of the Central
Pennsylvania Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee
Benefit Specialists. He is a member of the adjunct faculty of
Harrisburg Area Community College.

Andrew H.

Andy started in the employee benefits business in 1985
with The Guardian Life's Philadelphia Regional Group Sales Office.
He returned to his hometown of Lancaster, PA in 1991 to take a position as
Senior Group Marketing Representative with a Lancaster based insurance
company. In 1994 he became Director of Sales for a TPA based in
Lancaster. He has been VP of Sales with D. H. Evans Associates, Inc. since
January, 2000. Andy has extensive knowledge of both the fully
insured and self-funded marketplaces. He has many strong
relationships in the brokerage/consultant community as well.
Andy is
past President of the PA Association of Health
Underwriters. He has been a regular qualifier for the Health Underwriters Leading Producers Round Table President's Council. He is a
graduate of Marietta College, OH with a BA, Economics. He lives with
his wife and three children in Lititz, PA.

Jill Sheetz
Jill started her career in
employee benefits administration in 1980 with another TPA based in
Harrisburg, PA. Jill quickly rose through the ranks of this TPA to
become Supervisor of Eligibility and Pension. In 1994 she joined D.
H. Evans Associates, Inc. and is now our Vice President of Administration.
Jill is a member of the
International Foundation of Employee Benefits and is currently enrolled in
the CEBS program of the
International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

Stan
began his Information Systems career with
Unisys Corporation in 1989 as a Manufacturing Software Engineer. In
1991 he focused his career on the employee benefit and healthcare industry
when he joined a TPA based in Harrisburg, PA as a Programmer/Software
Analyst. In 1993 he joined a company also in Harrisburg, PA that
developed and sold medical billing systems as a Senior Software Engineer.
In addition, in 1994 he also began working for D. H. Evans Associates,
Inc. as a consultant designing and programming the systems that are at the
heart of the business today. In 1996 he formally joined D. H. Evans
Associates, Inc. as Manager of Computer Services and in 1998 became Vice
President of Computer Services. His work experience from working on
both sides of the healthcare spectrum (both from the insurer and from the
provider perspective) has helped shape the current systems and future
developments that are the keys to the success of D. H. Evans Associates,
Inc.
Stan is a graduate of
Millersville University, PA (1990) with a BS in Computer Science. He
lives in Etters (York County), PA.

Marcy Wolf, Vice

Marcy Wolf
Marcy is a liaison between the Company and our clients for
transition and account set-up activities, Plan Document and Plan Amendment
preparation and many other administrative matters. She works closely
with eligibility and pension benefit administration for both our
Taft-Hartley (multiemployer) and corporate (single employer) benefit
plans. Prior to coming to D. H. Evans Associates, Inc., Marcy held a
managerial position at another Central Pennsylvania based TPA working with
Cafeteria Plan, Dental and Vision Plan administration. Marcy has
over ten (10) years experience in performing and supervising these duties.
Marcy holds a CFC (Certified
in Flexible Compensation) designation from the Employers Council on
Flexible Compensation and is currently enrolled in the CEBS program of the
International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
